Castello di Montalto is a lovely, private castle in the magnificent Chianti countryside ideally located between Siena and Arezzo and within easy reach of Florence.
After a day's touring, tenants can enjoy the estate swimming pool, tennis court and boule court. Exceptional olive can be purchased from the estate, as well as fresh eggs, herbs and seasonal vegetables from the caretaker's garden. The baker/breadman arrives daily. Buffet breakfast is available in a vaulted farmhouse building.

Tenuta Bevignano" is a beautiful private, 200 acre Chianti estate tucked away in a magnificent setting mid-way between Siena and Arezzo. It is on the outskirts of the tiny hamlet of  Palazzuolo and just 15 minutes drive from Monte San Savino, a charming, old, hilltop village with shops, banks,open air  markets, restaurants  and easy reach of the A-1 Florence/Rome autostrada.. The setting is tranquil, the views spectacular. In addition to the owner's home, private  chapel and guardian's cottage, the estate offers two cosy, very charming restored farmhouses. Each bedroom has its own modern bathroom and each farmhouse apartment  has its own alfresco dining area. Casa Linda-Vana can be rented as a 2 or 3 bedroom 2 or 3 bath farmhouse.

Casa Ghigo-Gesuina, on the far side of the garden, comprises two 2 bedroom 2 Bath apartments which  can be rented individually for 4 or as one entire farmhouse for 8.  Ghigo has its own private terrace with glorious views. Every unit has a kitchen., sitting room and garden area.  In the main estate  garden you will find a private tennis court and a large swimming pool. 

Tenuta Bevignano has become one of At Home Abroad's most popular hideaways. The English speaking owner and her handsome son will welcome you along with their beautiful, friendly sheep dogs. Reservations are needed well in advance.

It is one of At Home Abroad's best listings and an ideal home for four couples with its four bedroom suites. Staff includes an excellent resident couple for cooking and household chores, six days a week. The grounds are magnificent, enhanced by the attractive solar-heated pool in the lower garden. This impeccable villa has a state-of-the-art kitchen and lovely living areas indoor and out. Minimum stay: two weeks (one week on arrangement with surcharge).
