CHARMING COUNTRY COTTAGE NEAR LUCCA WITH POOL AND TENNIS COURT

This delightful house, recently and lovingly restored, is located on the edge of a picturesque Lucchese village which boasts an ancient castle. Every year, at the beginning of September, there is a cooking contest in the village. All the village families bring dishes prepared according to old recipes of their mothers, grandmothers and local tradition. The occasion is always a great success. The owner of the farmhouse, a university professor, has taken great care to maintain the old atmosphere and charm and has provided many personal touches. The gardens cover 6 acres and are very beautiful...filled with flowers, fruit trees, olive trees and vineyards; providing a perfect setting for outdoor dining and relaxing. There is even a playground for children. Many amenities prevail: barbecue, private pool with solar shower and changing hut, washing machine, phone satellite TV, microwave, ping pong, and the private tennis court. This is a perfect setting for a family of 8. There are 4 bedrooms with screens and 2 ½ bathrooms. The walled-in medieval town of Lucca is just 12 kilometers away.
